Application settings:
Select a variable: Angle of input line Gap Rotation Line size Within each research performed, you can vary only one variable. All other settings are fixed within that research. For each of the 3 remaining settings (parameters) that are entered in the form of multi-line plain-text editing control (textarea), the first entered valid value is set (starting from the first line to the bottom). If all values are invalid or not entered, the default value for that variable is set.
Number of iterations for each variable value: Total number of items = (number of iterations) * (number of entered valid values for the selected variable)
Angle of input line:Enter only one integer value in the range of 30-60 per line. Units are degrees. The input angle changes meaning in the case of rotation. Do not enter units. Invalid values will be deleted (ignored). If all values in the list are invalid, default value = 45. The size of the gap between a fixed and a moving line: Enter only one integer value in the range of 1-25 per line. Higher value-larger spacing and vice versa. Units are arc angle degrees. Do not enter units. Invalid values will be deleted (ignored). If all values in the list are invalid, default value = 3. Rotation angle value:Enter only one integer value in the range of 0-180 per line. Units are degrees. Do not enter units. Invalid values will be deleted (ignored). If all values in the list are invalid, default value = 0. The classic Poggendorff illusion does not use rotation. If you set this value other than 0 degrees, the entire screen image will be rotated by the value of the selected angle. Eg. by rotating 180 degrees you get a mirror symmetrical image. By rotating by 90, the vertical lines become horizontal. Line size : Enter only one integer value in the range of 50-100 per line. It is entered as a percentage of the maximum possible line size allowed by the screen resolution you are using. 100 = the maximum possible value allowed by your screen resolution. Smaller values = smaller line size. Invalid values will be deleted (ignored). If all values in the list are invalid, default value = 100. Colors. Note: if you change the default colors, synchronize the colors. Some colors in demo mode are fixed (green).
